Hey May!

Thanks for teaching me that human connection is the highest level of investment.

It’s also good to know that happiness is not when I’m the only one who feel good about my life. But rather when I figured out that I create butterflies on others as well.

Also, you remind me that traveling is a way to remind myself that eventually, we just need to feel enough. Enough with ourselves. Enough with our lifes. Because in the end, wanting more is really (really) pointless.

  • Awesome way to start May

  • Robotical sleep is hmm, suck. You know, when you’re in an economy train and you can not move your leg and sleep like a robot although you want to stretch like arrrrrgh!
  • Movie of the month: Kiki’s delivery service. Hahaa. Yes, this is probably too bias so I won’t go into details. :b
  • I screw my time zone since I work for Mozilla. Like, there are times when I sleep on 3AM (or even 6!) in the morning and get up on 11 AM (or 1PM for fox’s sake!). But I’m so lucky to have a very supportive manager (my Greek mom is da best!) who told me that I don’t need to do that. And yes, I definitely need to create a new system to have a better work and personal balance.
  • Diajarin kemping sama Mailtarget. It’s pretty fun ternyata. Meskipun I’m more into beach tbh. Tapi kemping ternyata ngajarin kalo kadang kita emang musti susah dulu sebelum menemukan keindahan.
  • Had a super lovely night reunite with Nakula 86 squad. Akhirnya ketemu anak wedhok lagi. Fio dah makin gede, makin cantik, dan makin aktif. Seneng liatnya. (:
  • Went to Release Party. Too bad that I skip Diky’s talkshow (sorry Diky) but it’s still amazing to see that they keep the faith to develop Tea Linux. And side note, I’m so jelly of their cool shoe. You lucky team!
  • Ngemong anak wedhok yang doyan karokean di hari ibu internasional. Sekali2 nyenengke sebelum tahun depan (apa taun ini ya? 🤔) jadi tanggungan orang lain. :b
  • Now they finally got me a 5 years US visa. Yay!
  • Speechless and out of words to see how bad things happens in such a sequence. Manchester bombing and also the one in Kampung Melayu. It’s too sad to know that there are still many idiots out there.
  • My current favorite stuff. ^^

Inspiration of the month:

  • How we’re actually wrong about almost everything. (Mark Manson)
  • We’ve come to understand that privacy is the currency of our online lives. NY Times
  • You can crush flowers. But you can’t delay spring. TED talk by Bahia Shehab
  • Kadang kita melihat orang lain lebih bahagia. Padahal bisa saja dia lebih sulit, hanya saja dia tidak mengeluh. - random quote from Facebook.
  • Courage is when you’re afraid, but you’re doing it anyway - Broken movie (2012)
  • Choosing whom to commit ourselves to is merely a case of identifying which particular variety of suffering we would most like to sacrifice ourselves for. - NY Times

PS!
There will be no May delight for this month because my phone screen was broken so I can not get my pictures. Will add them once I repair it. (updated: my phone is back! :D)
