Graduation and 4 years flashback

Graduation Day

4 years has been passed but I won't say that time flies so fast because looking back now, it indeed was a long journey. But I can say that I don't regret my choice to take computer science although my long-time-obsession is to become an architect. Now that I'm finishing college, it's a perfect time to review what I've been through for this past 4 years.

Being a freshman

What can be expected form a freshman? Haha. I don’t pay so much attention to the lecture, and I skip the class often when I feel like not going or when a friend ask me to skip (in order to maintain our friendship haha). I was so young back then and fun is all I want to have. So, yeah.

Second year

Still, I don’t pay so much attention to study (or maybe for the rest of these 4 years :b). But in this second year, I start to join some organizations and finally be able to find my place in campus. I join the taekwondo team (basically, it’s because many of friends join it :b), the student executive board of computer faculty, and also the Wartadinus (something like a press club). And just like this, I start to become an activist.

Third year

I still struggle with so many activities inside and outside the university. I join the open source community in my campus (named DOSCOM), and also be a part of some activities outside the university like Mozilla, Femaledev, and also Nusantara Muda. Third year was the busiest moment of my college life. But still, this is the time when I finally learn how to code.

Last year

I decide to start to work (free lance) in a local television station in Semarang as a software engineer in my last year. Also, I finally lessen my activities to focus on writing my thesis. And it works, as I finally finish it on time.

With my sister (and yes, she’s my younger sister!) who is more like a manager for the past year. :b

Graduation DayPrincess Febri who is more like a fussy sister, but also like a second mom for me.

Graduation DayWith Fio! The last time we meet is when she’s still a new baby born. Now she even be able to walk.

Graduation Day

Even if I go to college I still found myself doing self-taught a lot. Don’t assume that going to college will make you smarter instantly. We still need to struggle to get through it. But I feel grateful that I still get my cum laude GPA target even with tons of activities that I have inside or outside the university.

Anyway, graduated is like completing a series of levels in a game and now it means that I should proceed to the next level. It’s scary to think that my life would be a lot different from now on. But I’m all beyond excited to think that I finally have a chance to move to another city (Bandung, I’m pointing on you) haha.
